Mathematician | Computational Scientist | Data Scientist
My journey began with a B.Sc. in Mathematics, which laid the theoretical groundwork for my future explorations in applied domains. I pursued an M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science, where I developed a deep appreciation for the synergy between numerical methods and real-world problem-solving. Now, as a doctoral researcher at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), I apply my mathematical training to problems ranging from lattice dynamics in materials using AI based tools. My current work addresses a major challenge in materials science, predicting mechanical stability in crystalline solids, by developing a Python-based framework that integrates Born-von Kármán models with PyGAD and Phonopy.
My long-term vision is to lead a lab focused on building mathematical and physical modeling with intelligent algorithms to develop interpretable AI tools that are not only high-performing but also physically interpretable and societally impactful.
